What is lost converting glTF to 3MF?

If your part measured 47.3 mm tall before converting, it measures exactly that afterwards, and it keeps its position relative to the origin, which is what matters when the model belongs to an assembly and has to line up with other pieces. Many converters normalise the mesh on load — centring it and scaling it to a standard size — because it previews neatly that way, and they hand you back a file with changed measurements without mentioning it. That does not happen here. The only tool on the site that moves or scales geometry is transform, and you have to ask it explicitly.

Before converting it is worth confirming that the destination accepts 3MF, because not every program supports every format and the installed version often matters more than the name of the software. If the file is headed for a website or a browser viewer, GLB is usually the safest bet; if it goes to a slicer for printing, STL remains the standard that opens everywhere; and if it is bound for augmented reality on an iPhone, USDZ is the only one Quick Look recognises natively.
