Frequently asked questions

What is a GLB picture for?

Virtual art galleries, digital museums, metaverse showrooms and product pages with 3D view. GLB is the format all those spaces accept — upload the file and the picture appears hangable at its real size.

What resolution does the embedded image have?

The texture is capped at 2048 px on the longest side and embedded as JPEG — the balance between gallery-distance sharpness and a fast-loading file (2–4 MB typical). More than enough for full-screen close-ups.

Can I 3D print this frame?

That's not the goal: the model is in meters and the image is a texture (printers don't print textures). For printable photo reliefs use the lithophane or image-to-STL tools.

Does the picture look right from behind?

Yes — it has a dark backing that closes the object, so it doesn't look 'hollow' if someone walks around it in the virtual space.
