Separates disconnected surfaces; it does not cut or repair the mesh. Isolated inner walls of a hollow object may appear as another part. Up to 80 MB, 500,000 triangles and 1,000 components. Everything runs in your browser.

Frequently asked questions

Can it split a connected model?

No. It finds surfaces without shared edges. Use Cut model to split a connected solid.

Are small parts removed?

No components are discarded by size. They are sorted by triangle count. Analysis stops and reports when there are more than 1,000 components.

Why are there parts inside a hollow model?

An inner wall disconnected from the outer surface is another mesh component. Inspect the selection before downloading: mesh components are not necessarily separate physical objects.
