    Check that all parts fit without touching. Download a 3MF with separate objects or an STL with multiple components and open it in your slicer.

Frequently asked questions

Will my models be fused together?

No. In the 3MF each mesh is exported as a separate object. The STL contains multiple components in one file; some slicers can split them again. Your source model geometry is not altered.

How does automatic arrangement work?

The tool projects the triangles of each model onto a 1 mm grid, preserving concave outlines and visible holes, and searches for non-overlapping positions with the selected margin. This yields an approximate compact layout that you can refine manually.

Will the tool automatically lay models flat?

No. Automatic rotation is limited to 90 degrees around the vertical axis on the bed. The original printing orientation is preserved because laying a model over can change support needs, print quality and strength.

Are original colors and printer profiles kept?

This tool exports geometry. The 3MF keeps meshes as separate objects but does not preserve source colors, materials or printer profiles. Set those up in your slicer.

What if a part does not fit?

Increase bed size if your printer allows it, reduce the margin or clearance, manually rotate parts or remove one. Layouts with parts outside the bed or overlapping cannot be downloaded.
